Saturday, February 6, 3 PM ... OK, it's Super Bowl Sunday, two teams playing that have a 99% chance of having no personal significance to any China Peak skier or rider. If you think it's better to loaf around tomorrow and waste the entire day for a game that doesn't start until 3:30 PM, maybe you should call, text or email someone you know who skied or rode China Peak today ... they will give you just two words ... ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. You can ski/ride your whole life and seldom have the snow quality, sunshine and temps right now. To say it is PERFECT is no exaggeration, just ask anyone. I've skied for 42 years and have worked at ski resorts in California for over 4,000 days, and it just doesn't get any better (maybe fresh powder, but then it's cold and most people struggle in it anyway). Give me warm sun and mid winter packed powder and I'm in.
Highway 168 is open and clear. The China Town Terrain Parks are open, both intermediate and advanced lines on lower Tollhouse plus the Uhlmann Progression Park.
