Sunday, February 15, 3 PM ... Well, here we go, a large storm expected to roll in tomorrow morning around the time we open at 9 AM, should continue throughout the day, up to a few feet tomorrow, then another 2-3 feet by Wednesday. Monday should be a snowy day so dress appropriately and get ready for fresh powder.
We are open 9-4 Monday with all lifts and trails ready to go. Temperatures will remain in the high 20s and low 30s for the next three days. Nearly every trail on the mountain is on the list to be freshly groomed including Academy, Dynamite, Big Creek, Firebowl, Jack's, Sundown Ridge, Razorback, Mainstream, Kaiser, Exhibition, Tamarack, Lakeview, Joe's, Red Fir, Westridge, Tollhouse, Easy Street and the Beginner Hills.
We have a wide variety of terrain park features on Middle Academy, Ullman's and Tollhouse. Be sure to check out terrain park features before you hit them including judging landing areas. All features will be ready to go after this storm passes, Thursday or Friday.
We are open five days a week 9AM-4PM Thursday-Monday all season.
Services and facilities open Monday include the Day Lodge, Mainstream, Jack's, Buckhorn, Sully's, The Lift Coffee Bar, Ski and Snowboard Rentals & Demos, Ski and Snowboard School for all levels, our new 1st Turn Center for First Timers (1stTurn.com), and China Peak Sports. For all ski and snowboard lessons including first timers, group and privates it's a good plan to book a day or more online for weekends and holidays.
