Monday, December 15, 5 AM ... We will reopen next weekend, December 20-21 with at least Chair 2 to the top of the mountain serving Kaiser, one of our most popular trails, and Chair 6 out of the base area serving Sundown Ridge to Lower Academy, a total of 1,500 vertical feet of skiing and riding, second most in the Sierra. We are planning to be open daily December 20 - January 5, then to our five day a week schedule through April. 

A major weather change is headed our way towards the end of this coming week with some warmer temps to start off, but followed by cold temps and snow, could last several days and drop a good amount of snow as we head into the Christmas holiday week. We are ready to supplement natural snow with our top rated snowmaking team and will move our operations to Chairs 1,4,5 and 7 as we see opportunities. 

Next weekend we will also have our 400' moving carpet for beginner level skiers and riders. Open facilities include the Day Lodge, cafeteria, Buckhorn, Sully's, ski and snowboard rentals, ski and snowboard lessons for first timers and lower levels and China Peak Sports for terrific holiday shopping. Our new coffee bar,The Lift is now open inside the newly remodeled Sully's and is receiving rave reviews! We also expect to open Mainstream and our new 3,000' outdoor deck. The Inn opens Saturday night, December 20, see below for special offer December 20-23.

Rates for next weekend are $59 child 6-12, $89 teen 13-17, $89 senior 70-74 and $109 adult 18-69.  Day Passes are available on line now.
